Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1Yes they are real numbers. A real number is any number that you can think of. Positive or negative, large or small, whole numbers or decimal numbers are all Real Numbers.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0What exactly are you calling real numbers here? The curve itself is NOT made of real numbers, it is made of ordered pairs. The \(x\)axis represents the set of real numbers, and so does the \(y\)axis.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0The plane itself is made of all the ordered pairs \((x,y)\) where \(x\) and \(y\) are real numbers. The curve is a "collection" of these points.
