    Muslims were heavily influenced by the culture and traditions of other groups in the region. Muslims believed in dressing in modest clothing to show reverence to their god. Muslim leaders were considered inferior by other leaders and cultures in the region. Muslim leaders believed in dressing in expensive clothing to demonstrate their power.
