how is a volcano made at a continental rift? explain please!!!

    The stuff that makes up the Earth's mantle is rising at where two plates make a boundary, and when all that crap reaches the top, it forms a volcano, and more of that stuff continues to push up, making the volcano taller and taller. Post in correct subject! @savannah44
