Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Well, since all of the options have x by itself, you want to solve for x. To do that, you want to get rid of the 5 on 5x. How would you do that?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Actually, to get rid of 5, you would divide that side by 5 (so it would be 1x, or just x). What you do to one side, you do to the other. So, you would divide the 5 not multiply.
