help? write and equation and solve the problem. two buses leave houston at the same time and travel in opposite directions. one bus averages 55 mph and the other bus averages at 45 mph. when will they be 400 miles apart? 1. 4 hours 2. 8 hours 3. 10.5 hours 4. 12 hours

    I believe the equation would be 400=55x+45x (x being the time)
