A theater contains 459 seats and the ticket for a recent play were $57 for adults and $21 for children. If the total proceeds were $15,903 for a sold-out matinee, how many of each type of ticket were sold?

    So let's let x stand for adults, and y stand for children. x + y = 459 --> seats 57x + 21y = 15903 --> tickets

    Going off what iwllrektyou said, to find each one just make the other variable 0. So if you're trying to find the x value, make y=0 and vise versa
