If five were added to each value it would increase the number by five more then it originally was, it could affect the count it adds up to or anything at all. 2. If the numbers 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 9, 11 were all added up and divided by 7 you would get 7 49/7=7. Now add five each to the numbers to get 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 14, 16. 8+9+11+12+14+14+16=84 Now divide by 7. 84/7=12 I mean in the original set would be 7. The new set is 12, 127=5. The mean increased by 5.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0I hand written this, but if for number 2. I would say it would affect by the mean going up with the increase of five on each number, it will be bigger then the original set of numbers.
