Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0The distance is the total amount of walking he did. The displacement is the distance between the starting point and the end point. There is an important difference. If i walk 3 miles west and then 3 miles east, i am back to my starting point and my displacement is zero, but my distance is 6 miles.
