A. an element B. an electron C. a particle D. a proton
  • Abhisar
Electron and Proton are sub-atomic particles so immediately it comes to my mind that they can't be the answer. A particle can be any particle like it can be a particle of diamond which is made up of only carbon atoms or can be a particle of sugar which is a compound and made up of three different atoms. So again it can't be the answer. What is left?

Since proton and the neutrons are within the atom and the electron is hovering around it which leaves 2. A element is a basic substance that cant be simplified, like oxygen. Which leaves one choice.
