Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1\(a=b\mod m\) means \(\dfrac{ab}{m}\in \mathbb{Z}\). In other words, \(m\) divides evenly into \(ab\).

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1\( 3 \mod 4 = 3\) because \(0<3<4\) \(43 \mod 4=1\) because if you keep adding \(4\) to \(43\) until you get a number between \(1\) and \(4\), that number will be \(1\). You can think of this question that way also \( 3 \mod 4 = 3\) because \(0<3<4\) If we keep add a multiple of \(4\) to \(3\) until we get a number between \(1\) and \(4\) that number will be \(3\) (the multiple of \(4\) in this case is \(0\))
