the immediate cause for the start of the french and indian war was A. french building of forts in british-claimed territory B. native american attacks of french settlments C. british colonial settlments in french-claimed territory D. the formation of alliances between the british and the native americans considering natives had nothing to do with this war, B is out. Not sure about the rest.
