solve 3/2x -4 = 16

    I miscalculated, the answer is 30. you first add 4 which gets you 3/2x = 20 then multiply by 3 which gets you 2x = 60 and then divide by 2 which gets you x = 30

    You need to get a 1 in front of the x, so what number multiplied by 3/2 gives you 1
