    Well, photosynthesis is the process by which plants convert sunlight into energy

    Cell metabolism can be defined as a set of chemical process that helps an individual or an organism to respond to their surrounding. And photosynthesis is a chemical process and it is more likely to be a part of cell metabolism. :)

    it's an anabolic process, it's a process used to make larger molecules by using energy
