    to compute \[-12-15\] you would add \(12+15\) and then stick a minus sign in front of it so \[-12-15=-(12+15)=-27\]

    you want to compute \[– 0.41 – 8.91\] how do you do it? add \(0.41+8.91\) then put a minus sign in front of it
