−4.1k−0.1k=2.16−4.6k −4.1k+−0.1k=2.16+−4.6k (−4.1k+−0.1k)=−4.6k+2.16(Combine Like Terms) −4.2k=−4.6k+2.16 −4.2k=−4.6k+2.16 Any ideas what to do from here?

hmm not quite... we should add 4.6 to both sides to that we can easily isolate k after words so what is -4.2+4.6?

    Add 4.6k to both sides. −4.2k+4.6k=−4.6k+2.16+4.6k 0.4k=2.16 <----Not 2.4....its 0.4

Now divide 0.4 on both sides 0.4/0.4=1 so just k whats 2.16/0.4 ?
