    Joe went a total of 361.9 miles in 7 hours. 51.7 times 7 = 361.9.

    i looked and saw that Joe drove at a rate of 51.7 miles an hour. It says that he drove that same speed for 7 hours. So to see how many miles he went i multiplied 51.7 times 7 which equals 361.9 miles. So the answer is 361.9 miles. :)
