Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0if you call the selling price x and take off 6% of x x 0.06x = 117500 you are left with 117500 we can simplify x0.06x by "factoring out x" to get x(10.06) and 10.06 is 0.94 thus 0.94 x = 117500 I would divide both sides by 0.94 to find x
