Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Simple, if x represents the original price (aka the price before discount); then all you need to do is substitute x=100 into the equation and solve :D

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Please turn off your caps lock in message :)... No C represents the DISCOUNTED price of the coat; whereas x represents the ORIGINAL price. Here the original price is x=100. So you substitute x=100 into the equation and solve.
