    alright so we should apply synthetic division (or long but synthetic is easy ) the quotient would be the oblique asy we need to solve x-2 for x x-2=0 add 2 both sides x=2 |dw:1442256272209:dw| just write the coefficient of carry down the first term and then multiply by 2 write your answer above the line
