first 30/2 is 15 second the problem is 10*10*10 divided by 10*10 which is a different problem

Here is the important idea \[ \frac{10}{10} =1 \] any time you have the *same thing* up top and down below, they divide out to 1

    \[ \frac{10 \cdot \cancel{10}\cdot 10}{\cancel{10} \cdot 10} = \frac{10 \cdot 10}{10}\] and we can go further \[ \frac{10 \cdot \cancel{10}}{\cancel{10}}=10 \]

    \[ 10^{20}\] means 10 times itself 20 times (lots of 10's) and 10^5 means 10 times itself 5 times 5 of the 10's in the bottom cancel 5 (out of the 20 ) up top that leaves \(10^{20-5} \) or \( 10^{15}\)

    so far we have \[ \frac{3\cdot 10^{20}}{4\cdot 10^5}= 0.75 \cdot 10^{15} \] to make this standard, make 0.75 10 times bigger and make 10^15 10 times smaller
