Change the mouse speed, change the double click rate, change which button is your primary mouse button, etc. This shouldn't be something that you memorize. You should be comfortable finding the mouse properties. Try opening control panel then searching in the top right search box for mouse. Then click on mouse settings or something similar. When you eventually find the mouse properties window it will be a pop-up window that says Mouse Properties at the top of the window.
