Need help with a biochemistry question! C8H14NO6−C11H18NO7 + H2O → (Note that the formulas are shown in the glycosidic bonded state)

    so that's a disaccharide bonded by an acetal (glycosidic) bond? the water will attack the anomeric carbon and cleave the bond, separating the disaccharide into the individual monosaccharides
