    first you rearrange the equation by subtracting what is to the right of the equal side from both sides of the equation. you try it now, and tell me what you get and well get through the rest of the steps after

    no, you should have got 7/3-3/x-5-(19/12)=0 then simply it to 7/3-3/x find the least common multiple which is 3
