## anonymous one year ago What is simplified version of -n+3/n-2 + -3n-7/n-2

1. Jhannybean

$\sf \frac{-n+3}{n-2}+\frac{-3n-7}{n-2} \implies \frac{(-n+3)-3n-7}{n-2}$

So now lets simplify your numerator, what is $$\sf (-n-3n)+(3-7)$$?

Wouldnt it be 2n-4/n-2 ???

The options are A) 2n-4/n-2 B) 2 C) 1 D) 2n-4/2n-4

7. anonymous

is this correct: -n+3/n-2 + -3n-7/n-2?$\frac{ -n+3 }{ n-2 }+\frac{ -3n-7 }{ n-2 }$

Its for a test, thats why i asked on here cause I thought I was doing something wrong but apparently the test is wrong. Im just going to the one with the n-2 denominator so it wont count against me for not answering, thanks for your help!
