The first term of an arithmetic sequence is 12, the seventh term is 36 and the last term is 144. Find the common difference. I am not sure how to do this, please help!

    fist term = a1 7th term is a1 + 6d where d = common difference so to find d you plug in 12 and 36: 36 = 12 + 6d solve for d
