How did the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union grow out of World War II?

    This is multiple choice. I dont quite understand it. A. The Soviet Union felt betrayed by its U.S. allies, who did not offer monetary support for rebuilding after the war. B. Soviet and U.S. leaders disagreed strongly about the way nuclear weapons were used during the war. C. The war established the two nations as the world's superpowers, but their politics were in direct conflict. D. During the war, the Soviet Union had broken promises to its allies, leading to resentment and mistrust.

    So its basically saying that the Cold War came from the effects of WWII, so I could guess A, B, or C, BUT im not sure.

    Sorry that I can't give you a complete answer, but B can be eliminated bc cold war was all about nuclear arm race. I also can say D is correct that Soviet did break some promises, they kind of invaded some Eastern Europe.

    It actually might as well be C, since Soviet was communist and the US was very anti-communist.
