Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0All macromolecules are polymers, but not all polymers are macromolecules. Basically, a macromolecule is a polymer that "let itself go", or is one that's freaky big (from a molecular comparison), like a lipid. Concerning complex molecules with random atoms, that'd be chaotic, with a lot of bonding & energyrelease occurring. The order goes like this: Monomers combine to make polymers, that, if they become quite large, are considered macromolecules.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1@EGaddIndustries Polymers are made up of monomers. Monomers are the building blocks of polymers.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0@Rushwr Shouldn't it be the last one? If it is the first, what exactly makes it incorrect?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1Polymers aren't made of random atoms. It has the repeating unit called monomer.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Ok. I just knew not all polymers were macromolecules, yet all macromolecules are polymers.
