Which statement is NOT true about polymers? the answers are Polymers are complex molecules composed of random sequences of atoms. Polymers are large molecules composed of small monomeric units. Polymes are macromolecules.

    All macromolecules are polymers, but not all polymers are macromolecules. Basically, a macromolecule is a polymer that "let itself go", or is one that's freaky big (from a molecular comparison), like a lipid. Concerning complex molecules with random atoms, that'd be chaotic, with a lot of bonding & energy-release occurring. The order goes like this: Monomers combine to make polymers, that, if they become quite large, are considered macromolecules.

    @EGaddIndustries Polymers are made up of monomers. Monomers are the building blocks of polymers.

    Polymers aren't made of random atoms. It has the repeating unit called monomer.

    Ok. I just knew not all polymers were macromolecules, yet all macromolecules are polymers.
