Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0To construct a perpendicular bisector of a line you use a compass and straight edge. The span of the compass must be greater that half the length of the line. Draw 2 arcs from each end of the line so that they intersect at 2 points , as below. Then draw the bisector through the 2 points of intersection.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0what I'm doing is giving you the methods so you can do that part yourself.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Now you place the point at B and draw an arc, then do the same at C so that the 2 arcs intersect. ( at D) Then you draw a line through A and D This lines bisects the angle A.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0So you draw 3 arcs to bisect an angle but only 2 to bisect a line. That is one difference

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0And its similar in that you use a compass and straight edge in both cases.
