    \[\huge\rm y=-2x^2+40x+600\] formula to find x-coordinate of the vertex \[\huge\rm x= -\frac{ b }{ 2a }\] then substitute x for its value into the original equation to find y-coordinate \[\huge\rm Ax^2+Bx+C=0\] a=leading coefficient b=middle term
