    square = 2nd power cube =3rd power

    and the power tells you how many times you should multiply the base example square of 3^2 means 3 times 3

    yes cube =3rd power so 8^3 like i said exponent tells how many times u should multiply the base it's 3 then 8 times 8 times 8 is correct

    here is an example 3^4 = 3 times 3 times 3 times 3 so 2^3 = 2 times 2 times 2 same way 8^3 = 8 times 8 times 8
