What is the main reason that attitudes are more often revealed in spoken rather than written language?

    Probably because it is more on the spot, but also because it is much easier to display attitude with the inflection of a voice. A lot of feeling and emotion is lost ever text because it's just a lot harder to convey it when you can't hear it.
