    It is either A or C... I have long forgotten so I'm a little hazy on this question. If you give me a moment I can do some additional research to verify an exact answer.

    I can not find specific evidence but by narrowing it down I'd say A. There are many parts of Texas that lack water so it can not be B, early Texans did not really mess with other tribes in that sense (or so some articles said), and my reasoning for B would be the same for D.
