Why was South Carolina so pleased to have Georgia become Great Britain’s threenth colony? Georgia provided more mulberry trees for the silkworms to eat. Georgia attracted the Indians who were attacking South Carolina. Georgia provided a buffer between South Carolina and the Spanish. Georgia offered two more ports from which to export goods to Great Britain.
