A plant grows 16 inches every 4 months. How much will it grow in a year? 96 inches 32 inches 64 inches 48 inches

    Ok. So theres 12 months in a year, right? And it grows every 4 months? 12/4=3 16x3=__

    16*4 which is 64

    There are 12 months in a year. The plant grows every four months. If you are trying to figure out how much it grows in a year, you divide 12 by 4. Because you are dividing how many months are in a year by the rate in which the plant grows. Does that make more sense now? :)
