What is the primary advantage of multiple researchers obtaining the same result? Discoveries are more credible when they are independently verified. Discoveries are less likely to be forgotten years later. Discoveries are less likely to require additional research at a later date. Discoveries are more likely to be disproved by additional research.

    I think a case could be made for C, but I agree with A. If it is being published I'd be more inclined to choose C.
