Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0x=0 because on both side 5 is on so you know that only the x matters right its like this 5x+0=7x+0

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0ok you kind of get it if its equal then the 5 fives on both sides cancel out so you get 3x=8x which 0 would be the only realistic answer got it??

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Yes am thinking sorry but I input it and it says it's incorrect (0) ...... i have online hw so it tells me right away if it's right or wrong ..... I have unlimited tries but I have yet to figure it out .... I haven't worked one out like this one before with absolute values on both sides ...... @Sohal

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Literally tried all of it and still "incorrect" . sometimes the software needs a specific answer to count it correct. For example one time the answer for some thing was 5 & 3 (two part answer, not an inverse function) I input it so many ways that were correct and it did not take it till I put [5,3] .... my professor doesn't expect that but apparently this software has high standards. @Sohal

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Haha literally right now I was working on solving x^2x20 by factoring and I knew it was x=5 x=4 ...... i did a similar problem and it didn't take the answer till I put it in parentheses yet this equation didn't take it until it was without parentheses! See I told you ! I like that I have unlimited tries but it's picky on how I write it...... @Sohal

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0whenever it is an absolute value, the number inside will always turn out negative

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Ok like subtract 8x+5 to the other side ?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0No it's fine ! & Yes it's a bit tricky.... Maybe I should use math way a bit more often haha..... i think if you pay it shows the steps right ? I guess I know why it's so popular for a reason, cause it works haha ! Then again maybe I will just ask my professor during her office hours ..... haha @Anguyennn
