Medal and fan! ^_^ The equation D = 40t represents the distance a car travels in miles (D) after traveling for t hours. What is the slope and what does it represent?

    Well...I travel for 3 hours....how far do I travel? D = 40t Replace t with 3....we get that I traveled 40*3 = 120 miles So the slope of the line is that 40, and it represents how far you can travel each hour
