Will fan and medal for correct answer: What is the x-intercept of the line with the equation -2x+1/2y=18 ? ( , 0)

    x-intercept is a point where line intersect the x-axis when y =0 so substitute y for 0 then solve for x

    so then the equation would be -2x+1/2*0=18 thus meaning x would have to be -9 to equal 18?
