evaluate the integral from -1 to 0 of (2x^5+6x)^3(5x^4+3)dx using substitution and the antiderivative

    u=2x^5+6x gives du=2(5x^4+3)dx and so du/2=(5x^4+3)dx

    I got (u^4/4)(du^2/4)

    Why do you have du^2/4 and what happen to your constant multiple of 1/2

    Integrate(1 /2*u^3, W. R. T. u) =1/2*u^4/4+c

    Though the +c won't really matter here since you have a definite integral. Now remember to change the limits then plug in
