what is the simplified form of y^2-y-6/y^2-4? I got y-3/y-2 with the restriction y ≠ 2 is this correct?

    the lcm is x-2 so u have- (3x+4-(x+8))/(x-2) =(3x+4-x-8)/(x-2) =(2x-4)/(x-2)=2(x-2)/(x-2)=2
