    using the exponents tells you how to move the decimal place. If it is negative then you move it to the LEFT by the number of the exponent (6 places in this case) If it is positive then you move it to the right. In each case you fill in with zero if you skip too far SO - move the decimal point LEFT 6 places and fill in with zeros
