Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0 means the distance from zero, which means the number itself except absolute value is always positive, so add a and b, then if that's negative just make it positive and add it to the distance between c and 0 and add does that make sense?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.23 + 7 = 4 so now we have : 4 + 15 ......so the absolute value of 4 is 4.....and the absolute value of 15 is 15 (because absolute values are positive even when they say negative. So now your problem just becomes : 4 + 15 = ?? .....any guesses now ?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2do you see how we got : 4 + 15 ?? even when the absolute value says 15....it is still positive because absolute values are positive. So the problem becomes 4 + 15 ....and that is equal to 19. any questions ?
