What was expected of the colonists through the new Quarterinf Act passed in 1774 As part of the Corrcive Acts (intolerable acts)? A) this new act revoked colonists right to elect their own council and instead be governed by a royal council. B) this new act expected colonists to ask permission from the royal governor before conducting town meetings. C) this new act required colonial legislation to provide for the needs of British soldiers stationed in that colony. D) this new act demanded that colonists provide living quarters to British soldiers, even in private homes. Please help!!!!

    D, the expansion upon the original Quartering Act forced Americans to allow British soldiers quarters within private homes.
