Why do scientists use standard units of measurement? A. because their tools only measure in these units B. because other units are either too small or too large to work with C. so they can communicate findings without confusion D. so that people who are not scientists cannot understand them

    It's the most convenient way of measurement. Back in the day, people measured using body parts, like "He's about 6 heads tall." While it was basically the only way, it was indefinite. Because not everyone's idea of the size of a head is the same.
