Hi, how to solve this problem? Philippine Air Lines flew from Tokyo whose latitude is 14° 36’ N and longitude of 121°05'E on a course S30°W and maintaining a uniform altitude. What will be its course at the point where it crosses the equator? Thank you!

    i have little experience with spherical coordinates here browse this first: http://thatsmaths.com/2012/08/12/napiers-nifty-rules/ and then look at a model of asimiliar problem here: http://www.mathalino.com/reviewer/longitude-airplane-crossing-equator it always easy when you know the answer.
