If three points are on the same line, then they are colinear. Points X, Y, and Z are on line m. Use the law of detachment to make a conclusion. If it is not possible to make a conclusdion, tell why. Thank you!

    I think THey want you to prove that if X,Y,and Z are on the same line, they are colinear, using that law

    General form of that Logic - conditional statement, maybe an If/Then - some statement to test (hypothesis) - A Conclusion based on the previous two lines, the hypothesis uses the condition to make a conclusion, i think

    So what you're saying is I should write it like this? "Points X,Y, and Z are collinear," and that's my answer?

    I would write these three in order -- 1) If three points lie on the same line, then they are colinear 2) Points x,y,z are on the same line m 3) therefore, x,y,z are three colinear points
