(5TH GRADE MATH! MEDAL AND FAN!) Each of the 22 members of the football team is required to participate in the Summer Car Wash fundraiser. The coach estimates that each member can wash 12 cars in one day. They plan to charge $7 for each car wash. Which is the most reasonable estimate for the amount of money the will raise in one day? A) $140 B) $280 C) $1,400 D) $4,200 I THINK IT IS A.

    you can just think about it, or you can really keep track of units to see if you need to multiply or divide ...

    If each of the 22 members wash 12 cars, then the total washed in 1 day is 22*12 = 264 cars if each car raises 7 dollars, then 264 cars will raise 264*7 = 1848 dollars/day raised
