Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1there are 6 even numbers and 6 odd ones number of possible combinations of 4 from 6 = 6C4 and of 2 from 6 = 6C2 so total number = 6C2 * 6C4

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1924 is correct for the total of 6 element subsets. The reason i asked was because i assumed there were 18 elements in the set  until i counted them!!!

"How many odd subsets are in A" From looking around the reasoning is that you have 2 choices to include a number or not to and you have 6 odd numbers so the answer is 2^6 or 64. My question is I am a bit confused on how the sentence converts into the power. Aka how "You have 2 choices 6 numbers) represents 2^6 would that mean that the total number of subsets for A would be 2^12 ?
