    Haha! you maybe confused because you are assuming that the matabolisum is involved in 'coasting downhill on a bike'

    if you look up the deffinition of coast, it means move easily without power. Also, since both the other two options obviously involve chemical reactions then you should be able to get the answer without needing to know the deffinition.
