If someone says," The chocolate pie is calling my name", what do they mean? A. They are watching a movie in which a pie is given the ability to talk. B. A person serving pie calls after them. C. They want a piece of pie badly. D. They dislike chocolate pie so much the pie seems to taunt them.

    The pie calling your name means that it is calling you towards it or drawing you to it. When you are drawn to food, you want it badly. So yes, C is correct.
